| Essential Qualification & Experience |
- Master’s Degree in Library & Information Science/ Information Science from a recognized university/institute with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed with proficiency in Computerized library service.
- A Ph.D. Degree in Library & Information Science or SLET/NET.
- Evidence of innovative Library services, including the integration of ICT in the library.
- At least 5 years of post-qualification relevant Library experience in Supervisory/Independent role in University / Educational Institute(s).

- Should be excellent in oral and written communication in English.
- Proficiency in Computer operations.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience in a Centrally Funded Technical Institution.
- Hands-on experience in the use of MS Office and Web-Conferencing Tools (e.g., Zoom and WebEx).
- Knowledge in E-Office Management.
- Working knowledge of Hindi.
