QUALIFICATIONS: (A) Essential: (i) A good academic record with at least a high second class (B+) or 55% marks in Master Degree in Library Science or equivalent plus a second class Master Degree in a subject other than Library Science from a recognized University. (B) Desirable: (i) Good power of expression in Bengali- spoken and written. (ii) Knowledge in any Indian Language, other than the mother tongue and English. (iii) Experience in the post of Librarian in any recognized Institution.
