Project title: Setting up National Virtual Library of India (NVLI)
About the project:
National Virtual Library of India (NVLI), This project is an important part of the larger vision of putting information of the entire Indian cultural heritage in the digital web world. The main goal of this project is to create, collect, encode, and collate various digital artefacts related to Indian culture, in the form of a portal, and to allow relevant information access through web-based search.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
BE/BTech/MSc-IT/MCA OR BSc-IT or equivalent degree with 2 years of relevant experience. The candidate should have
1) Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
2) Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and good knowledge of Python and Django frameworks
3) Solid knowledge of modern software design principles, concepts, and practices
4) Experience in using Linux OS is mandatory.
Essential Skills: Python3, Django, MySQL database, GIT, REST API, Jinja
